Dark Library, writing progress, and Funnel Cakes this week. All this week’s Secret Knowledge is below…
You can get autographed copies of all four books in Selene Reborn Series (Artemis Rising, Celestial Accord, Forging the Chain Breakers, Selene Unchained), Antarctic Honeymoon, and Mirim’s First Christmas at Granbury Octoberfest Celebration at the Granbury Square on Saturday or Sunday. https://malcolmupton.com/events/
Walter, Eleanor, and Sekmet are moving through the interior of the Impossible House. Actually, the corridor they are in long ago exceeded the dimensions of the house. This is one of the doors they looked through without entering. After all, there was a portal made of dark stone with arcane sigils on it and you could see Saturn from up close through it. And something vast and Old and evil. Walter documented the coat of arms on the door just in case he needed to recognize it sometime in the future. You have to ask yourself. Am I in the habit of planting Easter eggs that don’t pay off in the book they’re planted in?
Walter, Eleanor, and Sekmet visit a version of the 2026 Dogwood Festival in Palestine Texas. Sekmet catches the scent of funnel cakes and hears that you can get them with chocolate. After declaring “I need one” the next quest is for funnel cake. Can you imagine Walter’s response when he learns how much they cost?
I tore my feet up with more blisters than I’ve ever had at one time, but it gave me more writing time, progress this week:
Weird The Third III: Wrong Palestine – progress
